Questions are good things. They are there to get to know others and to find the common ground with each other, with the people we want to love. Well, I would think that the biggest thing I need to learn is to love myself. I think at least. I like lists, I make lists, mainly about anime and manga that I want to read and watch. And sometimes about American books too. My life does revolve around things that I consume. And I do not know if I am fine with that. I would like to fancy myself that I like philosophy, but in truth, I like the idea of philosophy. In the sense, philosophy means the love of knowledge, because we cannot know everything. So we need to start with things that we do not know, even though there are many famous figures in philosophy, I do not want to read from them. Because the biggest thing that I do not know if myself. And, as I am right now, I am more interested in filling the emptiness in me, if that makes sense. But I like questions. So, I went out and looked for que

[app game review] Folding Blocks

Folding Blocks, while it is not a creative name it is actually a quite fun game. This is how it goes: you are basically using maths, multiplying, to be specific, to fill an area with colored blocks. The game was made by Popcore Games, a company from Deutschland. I had played up to level 50 to understand the game better. The levels start out fine and easy and get harder and harder at a reasonable pace. They do pull back the difficulty a little bit when you are getting introduced to other levels of the game, but that is not a complaint that I can really bring up. After level 40 they get quite challenging and I would like to think that the true challenge in the game comes after level 50-60 and up until then you are being warmed up to the mechanics of the games. The placement of the adds is respectful, which is something that I can respect too. If you like mathematical games that challenge you but are not frustrating I can recommend this one. 0/6 - Review on the go! [+18 nudity and well, it's ecchi...]

0/6 by Lee You Jung is an insane ride from the first glance. I haven't even started the second chapter properly and there is already a German teacher who is dressed and acts like Hitler. I decided that this story deserves more review as we go style to it. Score: 8/10 This a five-volume manga that was published in 2006. "0/6 was published in English by Net Comics; physically from January 25, 2005, to March 6, 2007, and digitally on February 8, 2015." -myanimelist.com "Originally published in Korean by Seoul Munhwasa (Seoul Cultural)." -myanimelist.com The story of 0/6 is a little bit convoluted and doesn't really follow a clear structure that usually other stories do. But that is something that is its strength. The humor is nice, the art style variates between interesting, detailed and downright ugly, but that is on purpose. Some of the backgrounds are the combinations of drawings and photos that give a strange comedic atmosphere to the whole manga. The chara

009-1: R&B special review

Score: 5/10 "Mylene Hoffman, also known by the code name "009-1" is a beautiful cyborg spy. Instructed by her superior "Number Zero," she is assigned to eliminate a Jazz musician who is suspected to be a double agent. However, as she gets closer to the musician, she begins to slowly lose suspicion. Can she complete the mission before she falls in love?" - myanimelist.net This is a special episode to 009-1: R&B and it is similar to its parent anime. I can't really recommend t since I have the same problems with this one as the parent anime. This is almost like the 13th episode or something like that, a little extra, I can't really fault it. However, the animation is nice and if someone had liked 009-1 then this is a nice extra episode for it. It was produced by Aniplex, and the licensors were ADV Films and Funimation. The music was made by Iwasaki Taku. It was made in 2007 and it has an R-17+ for violence and profanity. It is a 25-minute special

009-1 - anime review. "Underwhelming spy anime"

Score: 5/10 "Mylene Hoffman, a beautiful cyborg spy with the codename "009-1" lives in an alternative world where the cold war never ended, continuously on-going for 140 years. The world is split into two factions, the West and the East block. A masquerade of peace between the two is slowly dissipated as the conflict occurs. Through politics, the two factions battle over supremacy over technology to threats of a nuclear attack. Mylene Hoffman, teaming up with three other agents, gets surrounded by deception, chaos, and rivalry as she carries out missions assigned by her superiors." - myanimelist.net This is the adaptation of 009 no 1; a manga made by Ishinomori Shoutarou that was published in 1967-1974. This adaptation was made in 2006. I sadly can't really recommend this, the premiss is good, cold war spy show is the future kind of thing, but it sadly does nothing new, and seems a little bit middle in the road. It is a shame since there is imagination in this,

The Eyes of Sora - Chapter review [1-6]

The Eyes of Sora or Sora's Eyes is a manhwa made by Summer and was published on Lezhin in 2015. In its original language, it already concluded, but it is currently being translated. The premiss of the manhwa is interesting: "When Jeongha, the temperamental young son of a wealthy businessman was suddenly stricken down with a mysterious illness, his father scrambled to look for a cure. But the debilitating affliction persisted. Desperate and out of option, the father sought out help from a temple up on a misty mountain to save the life of his only son." - mangaupdates.com The art style is really interesting, it has this sketchy style that looks almost half-finished but it makes it looks easy and light. It brings a nice atmosphere to the entire piece. It looks something really promising. I will be reviewing it chapter by chapter since it is still being translated to English, but if you understand Korean, then you should check Summer out on Lezhin. Chapter 1: And the first c

1-nen C-gumi Yoshida-gakari - [manga review]

Score: 4/10 1-nen C-gumi Yoshida-gakari is a one-shot is a middle of the road story about two boys or is it? The one-shot was made by Sakura Shiori, serialized in Comic ZERO-SUM in 2011. Taiyo Tsukishima is tasked with being the friend of a boy, Yuu Yoshida who always has strange things happening around him. Yuu is a mystery, he is top of everything, both in studies and in athletics and the girls all want to date him. However, Yuu is not a sociable person but likes to spend time with people who are assigned to him. [Spoiler: Every other student who was assigned to him get frustrated and change schools, so the new transfer student with a bad face is being bothered with this task that no one wants.] The art is nice, even though it is a little bit bland. The same goes for the background. The characters are not really interesting, they are one-note but carry the story well.  The humor that comes from the characters is nothing knee-slapping, I do not have a problem with it, and they lead to

Sand Balls {app game review?} "Good game, too much ads" (。﹏。)

Sand Balls is a game made by SayGames. On their store page, they are marked as a company from the Republic of Belarus. This is a somewhat boring but relaxing puzzle game. You are drawing a path for the sand balls and get them into the delivery car. You need a certain amount of balls to get the car filled, and then some extra that get you stars. You can restart the game even before you hadn't completed the level. If you complete the level you need to watch an ad to restart the game. Rating: ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ The art of it is colorful and nice. The animation if fluent and the physics work well. There is extra content, a beach that you can set up as a passive income. The graphics here don't look so nice. I don't like this part of the game, it kind of sticks out since I am already collecting balls for something, that is quite unrealistic. There are other things, like the shape of balls and the extra feature that you can test the graphic effects that the VIP people get. And I do admit,

Line Color 3D {app game}{review} (o゜▽゜)o~☆

Line Color 3D is an app game made by tastypill. Rating:  ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love this game. I had completed 30 levels of the game, and I can say that it was challenging. That would sound stupid, but the levels are not unfairly hard, you go through trial and error to get used to it and after a time you manage to pass (or it could be that my reflexes are just sh*t). I can recommend this one to everyone. It is an entertaining small game and the ads are well placed. The graphics are minimal and in a sense, it could be called boring, but a minimalistic design is well fitted for a game likes this. It does look good. The cube, from time to time speeds up to an unreasonable level, but I am fine with it. It is good.

Fushigi Neko no Kyuu-chan Volume 1 & 2 - Review

Fushigi Neko no Kyuu-chan is a still ongoing 4-koma, or yonkoma series about a lively and wonderful cat and his everyday life with his human Hinata. It is made by Nitori Sasami and was serialized in Twi 4 magazine, published by Seikaisha in 2018. Right now they are up to volume 5 and they are still going strong. Kyuu chan was adopted by Hinata, a usually bored-looking young man on a snowy day. From being stary to finally having a place to stay Kyuu is really attacked to Hinata and tries everything to make him human happy. This is a wholesome and positive story about an extraordinary cat having quite a normal day to day life with his human. I can highly recommend this little series since it is easy to read and quick to understand what is going on. It has it's own quite charming atmosphere that are perfect for times when you feel down (if you are a mood reader like me). There are some chapters where the pages are animated, which is quite nice and unique, but it was advertised that th

Familia! [manga review]

Familia! is made by Sou, serializes in Comic Avarus a magazine published by Mag Garden, and it was published in 2010. "Winner of an Award of Excellence in the Monthly Comic Avarus manga awards during November 2010." - myanimelist.net Score: 9/10 Kotaro Kazama, Yumeno Haibara and Shuu Koganei are Bambi's bodyguards, even though they never see the need to do any bodyguarding. Right now they are working to get enough money for Bambi, who likes spending money. Bambi himself is working as a designer. Their relationship is complicated. Bambi is a shut-in, however, someone from his past comes around and it is up to the three of them to save him until it is not too late. However, the three of them are not quite your average bodyguard. The art style is good, the characters are beautiful and their design gives back their characters. Yumeno is kind and naive with big features, Shuu is more rugged and serious, and you can see him being the one to pick more fight with Bambi about his

+α no Tachiichi - manga review

Score: 8/10 The beginning is really good, there is this subversion to the usual pretty young woman ending up in a world with superpowers and ending up saving the world. Satoki is a plain-looking girl, not really protagonist material and she never changes that much throughout the story in appearance. Satoki ends up with the power of the Holy Maiden, being able to materialize while everyone believes that it is her pretty companion, Haruka Toudou who is seeming without magic. [Spoiler: The twist in the story is that Toudou has magic too, just her imagination, that is needed to create the magic is really bad. She can use other people's imagination so she subconsciously channels Satoki's magic.] The manga is written and drawn by Geni Yuu, serialized by Zero-Sum Online between 2013 and 2014, consisting of only two volumes. The enjoyment of this manga, while reading is good, even though there are parts towards the end where I thought I won't finish it. The art is good, the backgro

Murder Princess anime review "No chemistry"

Score: 1/10 Murder Princess is a 6 episode OVA, each of 23 minutes made by Bee Train. It is a manga adaptation of the same name made by Inui Sekihiko. The producer in this OVA was Marvelous and the licensor was Funimation. Murder Princess has an R-17+ rating because of violence and profanity. The director and storyboarder are Kurokawa Tomoyuki. It was made in 2007. Plot: "In the kingdom of Forland, a coup d'etat occurs which leads to the death of the King. In the last moments of his life, the King sends his second child, Princess Alita Forland to escape. Unfortunately, while fleeing, a life and death situation between Alita and the bloodthirsty bounty hunter Falis causes the two of them to switch bodies. Desperate for the safety of her Kingdom, Alita begs Falis to return and protect the Kingdom, offering herself as collateral. After a swift beating on the rebel forces, Falis resumes the title of Princess of Forland, leading to the birth of the most savage princess in their lan

Ninin ga Shinobuden Anime Review

Score: 6/10 Ninin ga Shinobuden or Ninja Nonsense is a 12 episode comedy anime. It is an adaptation from a manga with the same name, premiered in the summer of 2004. Producers of this show were Toshiba Entertainment and Happinet Pictures while the licensors are Nozomi Entertainment and NYAV Post. The studio ufotable made the animation and the anime got R-17+ rating. Director Matsui Hitoyuki and sound director Aketagawa Jin worked on this show. The anime is a wacky comedy about, as the title says, ninjas. Shiranui Kaede is a normal high school girl, learning for her exams and doing normal high school things. However, she gets to know and befriend a ninja-in-training, the good for nothing and clumsy Shinobu and her life changes forever. The story, all in all, is not something that I would call offensive. It is, however, a little bit forgettable. There are nice comedic touches and from time to time drama enters the scene too, the whole anime sadly ends up being cute forgettable. There is
